🌸 Grounding & Centering Breath

Published on 9 May 2025 at 01:39

Find a comfortable seated position with your feet flat on the floor or sit cross-legged, spine tall, shoulders soft. Gently close your eyes.

Begin by simply noticing your natural breath — no need to change it yet. Feel the gentle rise and fall of your belly, the soft flow of air in and out of your nose.

Now, with intention, deepen the breath. Inhale slowly through the nose for a count of four, feeling the breath travel down into the belly. Hold for a count of two at the top. Slowly exhale through the mouth for a count of six, releasing tension, releasing heaviness.

With each inhale, imagine drawing in grounding earth energy. With each exhale, feel your body settling, releasing, softening into the present moment. Continue for several minutes, breathing deeply, connecting to the solid, supportive energy beneath you.

When ready, take one final deep breath, wiggle your fingers and toes, and gently open your eyes, feeling grounded and centered.
